I never understood how some religions have a different standard for girls than for boys when it comes to morality.. Do they believe that it's easier for men than for women to get to heaven?

I think the reasoning is more practical than religious. A man wants to know that any offspring is his, so that he doesn't break his back providing for someone elses child.

We should teach every child the importance of honesty, fidelity and personal integrity.
