The main problem with universal basic income, is not how to pay for it. (Although it’s important). The worst problem is that when everyone has it, society will expect you to have that amount every month. It will make sure living is so expensive that your amount disappears into rent and food.

But to get that amount, you need to be an obedient servant. Take your mandatory meds, follow the rules, accept the indoctrination, own nothing and be happy. Eat and buy the food that has the correct, big corporation-eco labels. Have the right amount of kids. Install that smart fridge with a camera and microphone. Don’t heat your home with wood etc.

Universal basic income has nothing to do with raising people’s living standards. It has everything to do with removing all your freedom as a human being.(Not that we have that many left now..) Where you will have a basic income “for free" you will also have a social credit system to enforce an agenda on people.
