I look at it this way: You are part of an unbroken chain, from your first ancestors and all the way down to you. These are people who made all kinds of sacrifices so that you could live, in hope that their line would continue after them. Infertility is one thing, but is this choice not also about them?

Their genetic presence through you, will end with you, for the first time in history. Maybe your kid(s) are destined to fill a role that will be a greater good for the coming generations? Destined to be with someone or birth someone.
